Keto Crispy Sesame Beef

Ingredients

  • 1 daikon radishes ((medium, about 3/4 lb.))
  • 1 lb rib eye steaks ((medium, about 3/4 lb.))
  • 1 tbsp coconut flour
  • 1/2 tsp guar gum
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce ((medium, about 3/4 lb.))
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sriracha sauce ((medium, about 3/4 lb.))
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1/2 red pepper ((medium, about 3/4 lb.))
  • 1/2 jalapeno chilies ((medium, about 3/4 lb.))
  • 1 green onions ((medium, about 3/4 lb.))
  • 1 clove garlic ((medium, about 3/4 lb.))
  • 1 tsp ginger ((medium, about 3/4 lb.))
  • 7 drop liquid stevia
  • oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Use a spiralizer to slice the daikon radish into noodle-like strings.
  2. Soak the daikon noodles in a bowl of cold water for 20 minutes. Chop ribeye steak into small strips, about 1/4" in thickness.
  3. Coat with coconut flour and guar gum.
  4. Let sit for 10 minutes. Prepare all vegetables, then heat oil in a wok.
  5. Once hot, add garlic, ginger, and red pepper.
  6. Fry for 2 minutes until aromatic.
  7. Then, add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, stevia and sriracha.
  8. Whisk together and cook for 1-2 minutes longer. While vegetables are cooking, heat 1” of cooking oil in a large pot until it reaches 325 degrees F.
  9. Add beef strips, making sure not to crowd the pot.
  10. Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the meat begins to develop a deep brown crust. Remove the beef from the oil and place on paper towels to absorb some of the oil.
  11. Place in wok and stir together with vegetables and sauce.
  12. Top each with sesame beef.
