Green Chile Cheeseburger - Low Carb, Keto, Gluten-Free

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef (grass fed, I use 80/20)
- 4 slices red onion
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 3/4 tablespoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (grass fed, I use 80/20)
- 4 slices Marble Jack cheese
- 1 clove garlic (grass fed, I use 80/20)
- 1 can green chile (grass fed, I use 80/20)
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise (grass fed, I use 80/20)
- iceberg lettuce
Instructions
- Mix ground beef with 1/4 tbsp cumin, chili powder, chopped garlic, hot sauce and green chiles.
- Mix thoroughly and portion into four large patties.
- -Melt cooking fat (coconut oil, butter or ghee) in grill pan or heavy bottom saute pan over medium heat.
- Cook burger patties in grill pan to desired doneness.
- -Mix mayo with remaining 1/2 tbsp cumin and stir to thoroughly combine.
- -Top burger patties with a slice of cheese and a slice of red onion.
- Top with a spoonful of cumin mayo and wrap in a leaf of lettuce.
