Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce (El Pato Hot Style, —or plain no-sugar-added Hunt's Tomato Sauce)
  • 1/4 cup Walden Farms Ketchup ,
  • 1/2 cup water ,
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter ,
  • 2 dashes worchestershire ,
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce (El Pato Hot Style, —or plain no-sugar-added Hunt's Tomato Sauce)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder ,
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic ,
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder ,
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cumin ,
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground coriander ,
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne ,
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt ,
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper (El Pato Hot Style, —or plain no-sugar-added Hunt's Tomato Sauce)
  • 1 pinch dried thyme leaves ,
  • 1 pinch dried leaves oregano ,
  • 1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a microwave safe bowl. Stir until well combined. Cover and nuke 1 minute on high. Stir. Cover and nuke 30 seconds. Stir, scraping down the sides, well. Nuke another 30 seconds. Remove from microwave, stir and is the sauce too thin? If so, dust in the xanthan gum and stir like crazy to prevent clumping. Sauce should thicken up, perfectly. Ole! Enjoy! Store in an airtight container up to a week or freeze up to 3 months.
