Easy Keto Biscuits and Gravy

Ingredients

  • 3 cup almond flour ((finely ground))
  • 1 tbsp baking powder ((finely ground))
  • 1/4 tsp xanthan gum
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp butter ((finely ground))
  • 1 lb breakfast sausages ((finely ground))
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. In large bowl, mix all dry ingredients.
  3. Add butter and eggs and continue mixing until fully combined.
  4. Line a large baking sheet with parchment.
  5. Separate dough into 10 balls and gently roll into slightly flattened discs.
  6. Place on sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes until beginning to brown.
  7. Let cool completely or they will fall apart.
  8. Gravy
  9. In skillet over medium heat, brown sausage until no pink remains.
  10. Add butter to skillet.
  11. Break cream cheese into pieces and place into skillet.
  12. Mix until cream cheese is fully melted.
  13. 2-3 minutes.
  14. Pour heavy cream and broth into pan.
  15. Sprinkle in xanthan gum and pepper and stir.
  16. Heat to a low boil the turn off heat, continue to stir.
  17. This will allow xanthan gum time to thicken.
  18. Serve warm over biscuits.
