Ingredients
- 6 avocado (large
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp oregano
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- 1/3 cup shredded cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
- chopped cilantro ((large, cut in half, pit removed and 2 tbsp of the inside scooped out))
- 6 lime slices
Instructions
- Place cut avocados on a platter.
- Place beef in a large skillet and cook for2-3 minutes, stir frequently and crumble the beef.
- Drain the grease.
- Add the seasoning and tomato sauce.
- Cook for 3-4 more minutes or until cooked through.
- Fill avocado shells with the filling.
- Top with cheese, tomatoes, avocado (or guacamole if you decide to make), squeeze some lime juice and a add additional toppings of your choice.
- Serve immediately.
