Taco Stuffed Avocado {Keto, Low-Carb}

Ingredients

  • 6 avocado (large
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/3 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
  • chopped cilantro ((large, cut in half, pit removed and 2 tbsp of the inside scooped out))
  • 6 lime slices

Instructions

  1. Place cut avocados on a platter.
  2. Place beef in a large skillet and cook for2-3 minutes, stir frequently and crumble the beef.
  3. Drain the grease.
  4. Add the seasoning and tomato sauce.
  5. Cook for 3-4 more minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Fill avocado shells with the filling.
  7. Top with cheese, tomatoes, avocado (or guacamole if you decide to make), squeeze some lime juice and a add additional toppings of your choice.
  8. Serve immediately.
