Italian Flavored Compound Butter

Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic ((crushed))
- 2 tsp parsley
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 2 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp red wine vinegar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 4 oz unsalted butter ((crushed))
Instructions
- Let the butter soften to room temperature in a medium bowl.
- Finely mince the crushed garlic clove.
- Add the garlic, parsley, oregano, thyme, red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper to the softened butter.
- Mix everything together thoroughly with a fork until all the herbs and seasonings are evenly distributed.
- Spoon the compound butter onto a sheet of plastic wrap and roll into a log shape.
- Twist the ends to seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
- Slice into rounds and serve on top of steaks, chicken, or vegetables.
