Easy Homemade Brazil Nut Butter

Ingredients

  • 1 lb brazil nuts
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and spread the Brazil nuts on a baking sheet.
  2. Toast the nuts for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden and fragrant, stirring once halfway through. Let cool slightly.
  3. Transfer the toasted nuts to a high-powered food processor or blender.
  4. Process for 1-2 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed, until the nuts begin to break down and release their oils.
  5. Continue processing for another 3-5 minutes until completely smooth and creamy, pausing to scrape the sides periodically.
  6. Add a pinch of salt and pulse to combine.
  7. Transfer to a clean jar and store at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
