- Instructions Slice bacon in half and make a weave Cook weave, low and slow, making sure to keep it flat either with a spatula or bacon press Remove bacon and let dry on paper towels, crack egg into bacon grease Top egg with cheese Remove egg and cheese and place on bacon weave
