In a small mixing bowl, mix together salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion, powder, chili powder, cumin, and cayenne pepper
Slowly whisk in 2 tablespoons of olive oil to make the marinade
Slice the jalapenos about 1/4 inch thick.
Place chicken thighs in Ziplock bag with sliced jalapenos
Pour the marinade over the chicken and work with hands to ensure the thighs are evenly coated.
Let Marinade for 4-6 hours.
Place the chicken skin side up on a sheet pan with some of the jalapenos and bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
Pour off the grease that is on the baking sheet and flip the chicken.
Bake for another 25-30 minutes.
(If you are using smaller thighs, you may need to bring the total baking time down to 50 minutes.)
Serve garnished with green onions and a lime wedge
