Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup Swerve Sweetener (confectioners)
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp extract ((confectioners))
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cup blanched almond flour
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, cream together the softened butter, cream cheese, and Swerve confectioners' sweetener until smooth.
- Add the extract, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Stir in the almond flour until a firm dough forms.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll the chilled dough out between two sheets of parchment paper to about 1/4 inch thickness.
- Cut into shapes using cookie cutters and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are lightly golden. Cool completely before decorating.
