Clean & Hungry Boneless Buffalo Wings

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs ((whole-wheat))
  • 8 oz boneless skinless chicken breasts ((whole-wheat))
  • 2 tbsp egg whites ((whole-wheat))
  • 2 tbsp Frank's® RedHot® Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
  • onion powder
  • garlic powder
  • cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick spray.
  3. In a wide bowl, combine breadcrumbs with 1/8 tsp.
  4. onion powder, 1/8 tsp.
  5. garlic powder, and a dash of cayenne pepper.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Place chicken in another wide bowl.
  8. Top with egg whites, and flip to coat.
  9. One at a time, shake chicken nuggets to remove excess egg, and lightly coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  10. Evenly lay on the baking sheet.
  11. Bake for 8 minutes.
  12. Flip chicken.
  13. Bake until light golden brown and crispy, about 8 more minutes.
  14. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine hot sauce with 2 tsp.
  15. water.
  16. Mix well.
  17. Transfer chicken to a medium-large bowl.
  18. Drizzle with sauce, and gently toss to coat.
