Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/3 cup erythritol ((or any sweetener of choice*; omit for savory pie crust))
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt ((or any sweetener of choice*; omit for savory pie crust))
  • 1/4 cup ghee ((or any sweetener of choice*; omit for savory pie crust))
  • 1 large eggs ((or any sweetener of choice*; omit for savory pie crust))
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract ((or any sweetener of choice*; omit for savory pie crust))

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, erythritol, and sea salt. Whisk together.
  3. Add the melted ghee, egg, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients.
  4. Mix until a uniform dough forms.
  5. Press the dough evenly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish.
  6. Prick the bottom several times with a fork to prevent puffing.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool completely before filling.
