Lamb and Bacon Kebab

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 8 oz bacon
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp basil

Instructions

  1. Mince your onion into fine cubes then chop the bacon to pieces.
  2. Combine ¾ of the onion and all of the bacon together.
  3. Reserve ¼ of the onion for later use.
  4. Transfer this bacon mix in a food processor.
  5. Crush the pieces to create a consistency similar to a paste.
  6. Combine the ground lamb with the leftover onion pieces.
  7. Season with spices and include the bacon and onion paste into the mix.
  8. Knead the meat until firm enough to be a kebab.
  9. Make sure to make a mixture that will not separate when cooking.
  10. Mixing lamb with baconSave Fry the formed kebabs in olive oil till they become golden on all sides and cooked through.
  11. Transfer to a plate and serve.
