Kim's Keto Beef "No Beans" Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground beef ((grass-fed, or mixture of ground beef and ground pork))
  • 15 oz tomato sauce ((grass-fed, or mixture of ground beef and ground pork))
  • 6 oz tomato paste ((grass-fed, or mixture of ground beef and ground pork))
  • 5 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 cup onion flakes ((grass-fed, or mixture of ground beef and ground pork))
  • 1 tsp garlic powder ((grass-fed, or mixture of ground beef and ground pork))
  • 1 tsp Tabasco Pepper Sauce
  • 2 tsp sea salt ((grass-fed, or mixture of ground beef and ground pork))
  • 1 tbsp oregano ((grass-fed, or mixture of ground beef and ground pork))
  • chicken broth ((grass-fed, or mixture of ground beef and ground pork))

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger in the pot the chili will fit into.
  2. Chop very small (If using fresh onion, brown it with the hamburger).
  3. If you're using grass-fed beef there is no need to drain the fat from the hamburger.
  4. When hamburger is almost done, add the onion flakes (if using), garlic, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt and the tomato paste.
  5. Cook hamburger with the tomato paste and spices until the hamburger is cooked.
  6. Add the tomato sauce and tabasco, mix and cook for a few minutes.
  7. Cook on medium for 15-30 minutes.
  8. Taste and correct the salt if needed, or add more tabasco.
  9. This can simmer for hours if you want, or you can eat it after 30 minutes only.
  10. If you simmer longer, cover the pot with a lid and add a little broth if it gets too thick.
