Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef ((grass fed, I use 80/20))
- 4 slice red onion
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 3/4 tbsp cumin
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 1 tbsp coconut oil ((grass fed, I use 80/20))
- 4 slice Marble Jack cheese
- 1 clove garlic ((grass fed, I use 80/20))
- 1 can green chile ((grass fed, I use 80/20))
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise ((grass fed, I use 80/20))
- iceberg lettuce
Instructions
- Mix ground beef with 1/4 tbsp cumin, chili powder, chopped garlic, hot sauce and green chiles.
- Mix thoroughly and portion into four large patties.
- -Melt cooking fat (coconut oil, butter or ghee) in grill pan or heavy bottom saute pan over medium heat.
- Cook burger patties in grill pan to desired doneness.
- -Mix mayo with remaining 1/2 tbsp cumin and stir to thoroughly combine.
- -Top burger patties with a slice of cheese and a slice of red onion.
- Top with a spoonful of cumin mayo and wrap in a leaf of lettuce.
