Ingredients

  • 100 grams butter
  • 200 grams almond meal
  • 40 grams whey protein powder (or substitute coconut flour)
  • 120 grams sweetener (or substitute coconut flour)
  • 1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (or substitute coconut flour)
  • 180 grams sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 100 grams melted butter
  • 50 grams sweetener (or substitute coconut flour)
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Instructions Donut Preheat oven 170℃ Add butter to mixer Melt butter 3 minutes / 80℃ / speed 1 Add dry ingredients, sour cream, eggs and vanilla Mix 3 minutes / dough setting Pipe into greased donut pan, roughly 3/4 full Cook 10 minutes until lightly golden Place on wire rack to cool Dip in melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar Traditional Method Add all ingredients to a mixer or bowl, and mix until well combined Follow the above steps to shape your donuts, cook and serve
