Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Mix all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
Mix all the wet ingredients together in a medium sized bowl.
Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and work them into a dough.
Add the chocolate chips and gently mix them into the dough.
Scoop spoon fulls of the dough onto the parchment paper.
Leave enough space between each cookie and flatten them as thin as you'd like them.
Bake your chocolate chip cookies for 12 to 15 minutes until they are brown on top.
Dust a very thin layer of icing sugar over the cookies
